Hi I'm Bethany Jorgensen

I go to Brigham Young University and I am studying "School Psychology". I just got my mission call to Puerto Rico. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Irish step dancer and have been doing it for ten years! I also enjoy reading, playing the violin, and playing board games with my family. I am currently studying "School Psychology" and am about to serve a mission in Puerto Rico.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because the teachings bring me hope. I know that my family will be together forever because of temple ordinances. I know that I can change my weaknesses into strengths, with the help of the Savior. I know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and has a tremendously wonderful and mind-blowing plan for me. This knowledge brings me hope.

How I live my faith

I am involved in community service through the Pleasant Grove City Recreation Center. For example, I have volunteered in the annual city celebration of “Strawberry Days,” a week long city festival where I helped clean booths and prepare food. I have also helped in other major city events, such as the Health and Safety Fair, National Hike day, and Halloween party. I have also volunteered as an aide for the past four years at my local recreation center. I help with the children’s programs by teaching cooking classes, chess classes, and helping in the daycare. I volunteer in my ward by teaching the nine year old children. I enjoy this calling because I have the opportunity to share what I believe with the children and see them mature and grow.
