Hi I'm Ivy

I grew up in Utah, I have 3 brothers and 1 sister. I have been drawing since I was 5 years old and I hope to be a Veterinarian.

About Me

I grew up in a rather large family with 4 other siblings and parents who love each of us very much. I have always struggled with speaking my mind and when I was around the age of 5, I took to drawing, and I never stopped. I have been in multiple art competitions throughout the years and was awarded Sterling Scholar in the arts while in high school. I have connected with so many people around me throughout my artwork and I hope to be able to continue helping and connecting with others as the years go on. Although I love art and drawing, I have always had a strong love for animals and, although many people assume that I wish to become an artist, I actually hope to become a Veterinarian in the years to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a member of this church; however, I never truly realized how much this Gospel impacts me and how true it really is until I began taking LDS seminary in high school. I have struggled with a mental illness known as anxiety for more than half of my life and I have struggled with many simple, day to day activities. However, this Gospel has given me such joy and peace that cannot be replicated or found anywhere else. I know for a fact that this church is true and I know that although we may not have all the answers, God knows what He's doing; and I know that everything He does is for our benefit.

How I live my faith

I have always had a love for serving and helping others in any way I can. I have served in many church callings in my youth; I have helped with setting up and planning multiple youth camps, I have helped plan youth activities and service projects for those in need, as well as helping a little bit in our younger children's Sunday school (also known as Primary). I have always loved this Gospel and serving those around me and as I grow older, I hope to continue helping those in need.
