Hi I'm Joylyn Hansen

I'm a Chinese American Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old about to become a full time missionary and teach the people of Singapore. I will have finished a year of college with no specific major in mind. I have had the wonderful opportunities of learning how to play the piano, learning how to ski, and play soccer. I have only broken one bone while playing soccer. I love to cook any type of food anytime of the day. If I could travel anywhere it would be New York City at Christmas.

Why I am a Mormon

I have had the fortunate opportunity to be adopted into this gospel. I was adopted when I was and infant and have been fortunate enough to grow up in the gospel. I have had many wonderful examples all around me that serve and live faithfully. I do not know where or what I would be without this gospel and the members of this church. It is my privilege to go and bring the wonderful blessings that I have received to others.

How I live my faith

I have lived my faith by serving in leadership positions in my youth groups. I have also taught 5 and 6 year-old about the gospel. I have lived my faith by giving service: feeding the homeless, organizing a fundraiser to buy Christmas presents for a refugee family, and raking leaves for those who couldn't.
