Hi I'm Mansi

I grew up in India, Mumbai. I was born in a Hindu family. We are four members in my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hello! My name is Mansi. I live in India. We are 4 members in our family. I am the youngest child in my family. I have a older brother. I love making new friends, Drawing, singing, dancing, and sport. I have participated in national taekwondo tournament and achieved gold medal. I know that Jesus Christ is true and Heavenly Father is true. I know that they love each one of us and know us by our name.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in an Hindu family but was raised by christian mother. I went to a convent school and throughout my childhood I learnt about Christ and His teachings, but never really understood it. I have been to many Hindu temples, many different churches to find something I didn't know what, but I never found it. One fine afternoon, 2 young men dressed in white with ties and name tag on them knocked my door and said something, to be honest I din't hear a single word they said I was absent minded. They handed me a card with name of the church, three questions and their name and number. When my mom returned from her work I gave it to her and maybe later that week she gave them call and she started taking lessons. She invited me many times to come to church but i was lazy as i used practice taekwondo whole week and rest on Sundays. One day when I came back from my practice I saw missionaries at home and wasn't really happy but I sat for a lesson with mom. Everything they taught at evening made sense to me and I did felt something in my heart. After that I started taking lesson and visited church. I did feel the spirit during the meetings. It was the end to my unknown search I found what was missing from my life. Day by day I felt spirit stronger and stronger in my life. I started feeling joy and peace that I never felt before and I know it was from God. I know that Joseph Smith saw Jesus Christ and Heavenly father that day and through him God restored His church back on earth. I know Joseph Smith translated the Book Of Mormon and died and honorable death. I know that the living Prophet is true and he guides us in this latter day. I know that Lord our God loves us all and died for us and our sins. In the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

How I live my faith

I love serving at church. I can feel the love of Christ when I serve others. It's strange but that's how it is. Christ gave His life for us and when we serve others He smiles at us and I can feel it every time I serve. I had a calling at church to teach primary (children aged 4-7). It was an amazing experience. God knew what I needed then, I was very bad with handling kids and very bad with patience. I was very anxious and nervous when I was given this calling, but I trusted God and I knew He trusts me. I worked on my skill every day and today I love kids. I love spending my time with them and not a single Sunday these little angels don't bless me with kisses and hugs. Last year I was called to be an instructor in a women class. Again something I never imagine I could do but I knew that God knew what I needed. I have learnt a lot from these beautiful sisters at church. My testimony has grown stronger by looking at their faith and diligence. I learned the real meaning of love and care from these sisters and I try so that I can do what I learn from them. I try my best to follow Christ example and I do fail at times but I know its okay. I know if I keep trying I will do it. I also love to visit investigator or people who wants to learn about Christ and His good news. I do visit them with missionaries. Every time, I learn something new from them. Every time I feel spirit so strong that I have decided to serve lord as full time missionary. It's not hard to live the faith but it not easy without Christ and His atonement.
