Hi I'm Brad Ferguson

I was born and raised in Utah, and I love building robots. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was on a robotics team for 4 years and I came to love engineering. So much so that I decided to major in Electrical Engineering, which I am studying at BYU. Currently, I am on a mission in Lubbock, Texas. I like hiking and canoeing and being out in nature. I've had lots of experience programming, and I decided I like programming when it's my own project, but not when it's a homework assignment.

Why I am a Mormon

I was actually born into a Mormon family, which helped me gain habits of scripture study and prayer. But it wasn't until I went to EFY that I really gained a strong testimony for myself. EFY is a week-long youth-oriented seminar focused on fellowship and teaching the principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. On the second to last day, we had a music program and sang the EFY medley which is the most spiritual song I have ever sang, afterwards we had a testimony meeting, and I learned for myself that bearing your testimony, really strengthens it. I cannot deny the spirit I felt that day, and I want to share that with the world by serving a mission.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission in Lubbock Texas. If you are unfamiliar with a mission, when members of the church turn 18, they can set everything aside for 2 years to serve the Lord and teach the gospel in a place far from home. Many missionaries get to learn a new language. I chose to serve a mission because I want to share the truths of the gospel that I was fortunate enough to grow up with. I want to help people find true joy through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
