Hi I'm Caitlin

I'm a daughter, a sister, and a friend. I love exploring the world. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life with my parents and two younger sisters. I fell in love with horses at a very young age and was involved in equestrian riding for many years. I also enjoy all things relating to musical theatre and being outdoors and active with my family and friends. Starting college recently occupied quite a bit of my time but I loved the new adventure! I'm not sure exactly what I want to do with my education down the road but I hope it involves being of service to others and seeing the world. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in Arkansas.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because this gospel gives me a purpose. I know exactly who I am, where I am from, and where I am going because I have come to know my Savior and I have come to know that He has a plan for me. I have read His book, the Book of Mormon, and without a doubt I know that it is true. I have felt a confirmation in my heart countless times and I know that anyone who takes the time to truly read and pray to know if it is true will feel that confirmation as well. Being a Mormon brings me true happiness.

How I live my faith

As a full-time missionary, living my faith is something that is constantly on my mind. As of right now, living my faith is a conscious choice. However, my goal is to eventually have it become a part of who I am. For example, one of my favorite ways to live my faith is to show kindness to others, whether they are strangers or friends. There are an infinite number of ways to do this, whether it be smiling at those you pass on the street or listening to someone who just needs to talk about their day. No matter how easy these simple actions seem, some days I find that I just don't feel up to them. These are the days I'm usually too focused on myself to notice what others are going through. My goal is to someday become like Christ who, no matter what kind of day He was having or how busy He was, stopped to administer to all. I have found that any time I am working to develop Christlike attributes, such as kindness, patience, love, or forgiveness, I am also working to live my faith.
