Hi I'm Christine

I grew up in South Africa in a small town in KwaZulu Natal. I moved to Canada with my mom and stepdad. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

So, I was born into the church and have always loved the gospel and felt it strongly in my life. I was a student studying medicine before I received the call to serve a full-time mission. My favourite hobbies include reading, painting, singing (sometimes fairly well), and being involved in group activities. My passion is to help anyone in need, I've always loved service and have done quiet a bit of it as a first-aider at my high school. My life's motto is to always love your neighbour and never shy away from helping others in need.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know and feel in my heart that this is the true church. I have a strong testimony in the gospel, and that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I love how no matter where I am I still feel God's love for me, that even in the darkest of times He is always there for me, helping me overcome any obstacle, just as long as I have faith in Him, he will always be there for me.

How I live my faith

I always try to excel in every calling I receive, back in South Africa I was in charge of the YSA's (the young single adults group) in my ward, so planning activities, as well as giving lifts to those without cars while trying to get everyone invoided in Family Home Evening activities. I also go along with the sister missionaries to visit those investigating the church in order to reach out to anyone who is curious about the church, mainly trying (struggling) to answer any and all questions that they may have about the Mormon faith.
