Hi I'm Hannah Clawson

I live in Utah. I attend BYU, and am studying music education. I want to be a high school band teacher and a mother.

About Me

I'm a college student, obsessed with music, reading, and writing. I'm studying to be a high school band teacher. Someday I would love to publish a fiction book. But my biggest dream is to have a family. I desperately want to be a mother.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith, but there came a time in my life where I had to decide whether I believed it or not. I'm the kind of person who likes their independence, and while I love, respect, and trust my parents, something like religion must be decided individually. Throughout my life, I've had many experiences that taught me what life could be like without the gospel in it, without my religion. My decision was based on the fact that with my religion, I am much more happy. I am given the knowledge of what happened before I was born, and what will happen after. I have a purpose, and a duty. I know that I am important and loved. I chose to believe, and I am happier because of it. From that moment, I've been blessed with a testimony, further knowledge. I know the gospel is true, that Christ is my Savior, and that the Book of Mormon is true scripture, translated by a true prophet, Joseph Smith. I know that there is a prophet living today, President Thomas S. Monson, and that he leads the church according to the wishes of God. I want to be able to share the purpose and happiness that i have from the gospel with others.

How I live my faith

My faith is a part of everything I do. The way I live is to guarantee that I can have my eternal family. I want to be able to say without a shadow of a doubt that I live the standards of my religion. And if i ever do publish a book, I want my standards to be clear in that as well. As a teacher, I believe I could try to be an example to teenagers who may need guidance. Within the church I already have that privilege of being a teacher.
