Hi I'm Colin

I'm from the United States, serving a mission in São Paulo, Brazil.

About Me

I really like cars and love to work in the garage. I also really enjoy learning new and different things. I am very excited to serve a mission and I can't wait to serve the Lord.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church and have always been a believer of the Gospel. As I got older I realized I needed to know for myself if the church was true. All of my friends were leaving for their missions and my best friend since elementary school told me his testimony. I really started reading the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true. I felt the spirit very strongly and that was when I decided to go on a mission myself. During every step of this process, including getting the Melchizedek priesthood and going through the temple, I have felt the spirit strongly. It is reassuring to feel the spirit; it lets me know I'm doing the right things. Now that I am truly converted, I am going to serve for 2 years in Brazil, and I can't wait.

How I live my faith

I am a full time missionary, meaning that I will spend two years teaching and serving the people of São Paulo Brazil. Back home I was a teacher, so on the 4th Sunday of each month I would teach a lesson to the men aged 18-30ish. I am also a home teacher so my companion and I visit a family in our congregation once a month and visit with them and teach them. Before my mission I was also a temple worker so I was able to serve to patrons in the temple.
