Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Kaysville, Utah. I love telling stories whether by film, pictures, stories or paintings. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I call myself a storyteller because I love to tell a story in various ways. I'm even going to school to get my bachelor's degree in Communications with a Digital Media emphasis. So, I'm going to school to tell a story in film. Whether it be in commercials or promos, I want to do it. I also have a fetish for pets. I've got a Betta fish, a goldfish, a Miniature Schnauzer, a Yellow Lab, and a horse. I love animals and can't wait to have more.

Why I am a Mormon

I didn't grow up LDS, even though I grew up in Utah, but when I was about 10 years old, my dad had decided to go back to church again. I went with him and at first it was weird. We hadn't done anything religious, so the idea of going to church on Sunday and following the guidelines of the gospel were odd for me. As I began to open my mind to the Lord's gospel, I began to realize how this way of living was nice. It felt familiar, like I'd lived my life like this in the past. I realized how much I loved it. This gospel has changed my life, and when I chose to join the church and get baptized at the age of 14, my eyes were opened even more as I given the gift of the Holy Ghost. I remember my sister, who is not of this faith, came up to me after the event and told me that I was glowing. I remember smiling at her, knowing that that glow she was seeing was because I had made the right decision, that this baptism was what was supposed to happen. To this day, I think about how I was glowing from doing as the Lord has asked, and I try to live to that. There's no doubt that the Lord knows us individually, and as we strive to become like Jesus Christ, we will feel his love in our lives.

How I live my faith

One of my roles at church include becoming friends and talking to those who come alone. It's my responsibility to make sure people don't feel lonely and feel like they have someone they can talk to. I love working with people and helping them in times of need, so it's a great job for me to have. It gives me the opportunity to get to know people and provide service to them.
