Hi I'm Ashlyn

I'm a senior in high school. I love making ceramics and raising my 5 alpacas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm graduating from high school this year. I raise my own cute herd of 5 sweet alpacas and I love making pottery. I also love Scottish tenor drumming and am the #1 tenor drummer in the western United States. I've had my ceramic work displayed in museums across my state and have won some really neat awards for my work. I love my alpacas and taking care of them. I'm a pretty simple girl with some pretty interesting hobbies, but they make me happy.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was born into a Mormon family and was baptized when I was 8. I have remained a Mormon because I have a burning love in my heart for Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. As I have gone through high school, I've been faced with a series of intense trials with my friends, my family, and pretty much any other thing you can picture a teenage girl experiencing. Through all of the hard times, I have had to rely wholly on my savior, Jesus Christ, to carry me through. I have absolutely no doubt that Jesus loves each and every one of his brothers and sisters, and that God loves all of his children more than we can ever comprehend. I know I wouldn't be here without Jesus Christ, and his light shines on everything the eye can see. I love my savior with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by participating in my local youth group events that are held every Wednesday night. I also attend Sunday services and I have a calling as the ward chorister every week. I love attending church and seminary as I go to school. I also live my faith by trying to live like Christ and be an example of his love and grace every day to everyone I meet.
