Hi I'm Stephanie

I just graduated from BYU in Dietetics. I love decorating, making costumes, and culinary arts. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated with a bachelor's degree in Dietetics and look forward to completing an internship and becoming a registered dietitian. I love cooking, especially with my sister who shares my taste for delicious and healthy food. I also started sewing when I was in middle school and now enjoy making dresses and home decor. Painting is another one of my hobbies, and I'd have to say oil or watercolor are currently my favorite mediums. I especially love artwork that portrays the beauty and serenity of nature.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family and baptized when I was 8, however I still had to gain my own testimony of the truth of the gospel. I am definitely not perfect and have made mistakes, but because of this, I have also learned a great deal about the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He has made it possible for us to repent, to change and learn and live and grow closer to Him, and even live with God, our Heavenly Father again one day! I cannot imagine where I would be without the knowledge of the Atonement and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It has brought me so much happiness and joy that I cannot express in words.

How I live my faith

I believe I can serve God by serving His children, so I've tried to get involved in several organizations in the community. While I was in college, I taught nutrition classes to elementary school children and worked as Executive Director of the program to expand our outreach to more schools. I absolutely love using the knowledge I've gained in school about healthy living to improve health within the community. In my ward in church I've helped with activity planning, missionary work, service projects, teaching, etc. No matter where I'm asked to serve, I try to use the strengths God has given given me to strengthen the faith and lift the spirits of those I work with. In less than a week I will be leaving to serve a full-time mission. I am so excited to share this gospel that I has brought me so much joy with the people I meet!
