Hi I'm Dallen

I grew up in Washington state. I love the outdoors. I am a military child and a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at Brigham Young University and I am currently studying medicine. I hope to one day be a doctor in the military like my grandfather. I love to play sports of all kinds and I enjoy being outdoors. I love to hike and have summited several peaks around the Northwest including Mt. St. Helens. I am a certified SCUBA diver absolutely love to be in the water. I hope to, one day, compete in a triathlon in hopes that I can continue living a healthy lifestyle after I graduate from college and pursue a career.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and have found it to be true. I have prayed to God to ask for some sort of conformation as to whether or not this is His church and have received an answer. I love this Gospel and learn new things about Christ's Atonement and about God's plan for us every day. I love having a community of members who look out for me and who care about my growth both spiritually and as a person. This church is led by outstanding men and women. I know that this is ultimately Christ's church and He is at the helm. He communicates His will through prophets. I am grateful for the opportunity to go serve a mission and to share this Gospel with others because I want to share the joy and blessings that I have received from it.

How I live my faith

I am currently on my way to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will be serving in the Dominican Republic for a period of 24 months. In this way, I will be able to teach and serve the people there, giving them my full attention at all times. I hope to share the Gospel and give service in any way that I can during this time.
