Hi I'm Connor

I grew up in Virginia. I'm a competitive runner. I'm serving a mission in Brisbane Australia from 2017-2019. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a runner and always have been. I tried all sorts of sports but ended up sticking with running. After numerous races and All-State finishes I realized that most obstacles in life are mental rather than physical. When you think you've reached your limit you're really only 60% from your max. I'm also an Eagle Scout and an only child. Growing up without siblings taught me to be independent and self reliant. My father is not a member but in the past 5 years has been attending church with my mother and I regularly as well as paying tithing! Growing up with a parent that isn't a member has taught me to be understanding and cognizant of investigators and people of other faiths. I hope one day my father will be able to recieve the blessings of being a member of this true church. I've been called to serve a mission in Brisbane Australia from July 2017- July 2019. I'm grateful and excited to share the gospel I've come to know, believe, and love.

Why I am a Mormon

I've chosen to become a member of this church because I've prayed to know if what the teachings that are taught are true. When I read the Book of Mormon I feel the spirit testify the truth of what I read to be true. I'm a Mormon because of the happiness it brings me. I love how this church centers itself on families and Christ. Gods plan for all of us is to return to him again, to live with him again, and to have eternal life and happiness with our families as well. I'm a Mormon because I know this is the one and only true church to have the fully restored gospel on this earth in this last dispensation. Ask with a sencere heart and you will recieve the answers you desire (read James 1:5-6).

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending early morning seminary to learn about the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I also attend church service regularly and partake of the sacrament. I also pray often and read my scriptures daily to recieve knowledge. Occasionally I go out with the missionaries and participate in teaching people that are interested in the church.
