Hi I'm Kyle Frazier

I love running, I love reading, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a missionary. I serve in the Michigan Detroit mission. I'm an Eagle Scout who loves the outdoors. Occasionally I go hiking, and take pictures to bring the scenery home. I took Latin in high school, huge mistake for anyone who lives near Latin America. I took medical classes and loved it. My favorite bands are Rise Against and Pelican.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member all my life, but it wasn't until high school that I really started wondering why I believe what the church teaches. It was drilled into me and my fellow youth's heads that we need to pray for answers, but I always put that off. Eventually, I just took everything with a grain of salt. One Sunday, I decided to fast and pray like I'd been taught at church and in the scriptures. I was in a sour mood, I was really stewing over something. At the end of the day, I thought, "This is it. I'm gonna pray and find out if this is really true." I thoughtfully read Apostle Luke's account of Christ's Atonement in Gethsemane, and Moroni's promise in the Book of Mormon. I wanted to have a witness from the Spirit that the ministry of Christ and the Native American prophets were real. I had believed and felt that God answered prayers, but I still had doubt and anger over the need to do this after being a member for so long. I knelt down and prayed, and asked Heavenly Father if Christ did suffer in Gethsemane, and if the Atonement was real. And I felt peace. All those negative emotions were gone, and I just felt profound contentment. Not overwhelming joy, but peace. I asked if the Book of Mormon was true scripture, and the feeling continued. Since then I've been more committed to following the scriptures and our church's leaders, living the counsel of Christ and His prophets, and honoring my church callings and covenants. I believe that we all need a personal witness from Heavenly Father, and that following answers from the Holy Ghost will lead people to this Church.

How I live my faith

When I was at home, I helped to teach people in their homes and make sure they had what they needed. I'm also a missionary.
