Hi I'm Eric Franks

I grew up in Kamloops, BC. Family and friends are everything to me. I am who I am thanks to them and the gospel. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I play piano and rugby, I'm no pro but I have fun. I love serving, and I love Christ. I just completed a year of university, casually taking engineering courses, and am about to leave to the Santiago, Dominican Republic Mission. - updated May 7th, 2017

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy!! Everything in life, to me is about being happy.. especially since it's sometimes something I really struggle with. The gospel brings me peace and joy and guidance through the companionship of the Spirit. The truth that the LDS Church teaches helps me be a better person which blesses my life, the lives of my family and the lives of my friends. And the eternal perspective that is taught in the Church allows me to always, ALWAYS have HOPE, no matter what I experience. Christ is my best friend, and through Him I can be and do whatever I like, so long as I strive to follow His example. He enables me to be happy, and successful in every aspect of my life. It's amazing!!!

How I live my faith

Currently I'm just preparing to leave on my mission! In the past I have operated as deacon and teacher's quorum president, priest's quorum first counselor, ward transportation specialist, a teacher in the Elder's quorum, and a hometeacher of course :) I LOVE hometeaching, and I have such a strong testimony about how it changes lives and changes the ward.
