Hi I'm Monica

I grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana. I attend Utah State University, studying speech-pathology. I am a Mormon.

About Me

In high school I was a cheerleader. I cheered for football, basketball and I was a competitive cheerleader. I graduated high school in 2016, and I currently attend Utah State University. I also work in a retirement home. I love working with the elderly, and helping them with their needs. I enjoy swimming, boating and trying new foods. My mom is a single mom and she raised me by herself, so we are close and I spend a lot of time with her.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because it brings joy to my life. The Book of Mormon gives me guidance, hope and knowledge so I can return to live with my Father in Heaven some day.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I try my hardest to live as Christ did. In my single's ward I am a gospel doctrine teacher, and I have learned so much from preparing lessons. When I got the calling I felt very insufficient. I didn't feel like I knew enough to be a teacher. But Heavenly Father helped me, and I was able to learn and grow. The area I grew up in does not have many LDS members. In high school it was difficult to live the standards I know to be true. But as I did, I saw many blessings in my life.
