Hi I'm Cameron Savage

I grew up in the country. I love to serve and help people. I love to wrestle. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the senior class president at my school. I love to be involved in Student Government, to help plan activities and serve people. I was on the wrestling team and I love to wrestle. I wrestle everyone, whether they want to or not. I worked as a lifeguard. I have received a mission call and am about to leave in July to serve the Lord for two years in Washington D.C..

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of the Church, and they taught me the Gospel as I grew up. At first I went to church because my parents told me to, and I listened to authority. But as I continued to go, I began to see the blessings of the Gospel in my own life and I wanted to go. I had faith that what I was being taught was true, and I had faith that living the Gospel would ultimately make me the happiest I can be. But having faith requires action. I began to act on my faith. I started acting Christlike to those around me, and started reading the scriptures. I went to church and participated in youth activities. Eventually, when I was putting faith in God and trusting that He would answer, I prayed and asked our Heavenly Father if he was there. I feel his love for me and I know that the Church is true.

How I live my faith

I assist the younger youth with their responsibilities, and serve in different capacities. Some of these include administering the sacrament to shut-in people in our area, as well as serving the elderly and maintaining the church buildings. My testimony of the Gospel drives all of my motives in my life. I strive to be an example of Jesus Christ wherever I go, whether it is serving strangers, keeping my language clean, or being an example of cleanliness to those around me. I love the Gospel and the blessings we all receive from serving the Lord.
