Hi I'm Grant Lewis

As the son of a diplomat I grew up around the world. I'm a Mormon

About Me

As the son of a diplomat, I've lived around the world including Finland, Israel, Turkey, and the United States. I love traveling and seeing the beautiful creations our Lord has made. I am a college student at Brigham Young University. I am interested in working in the animation field as my full-time profession after I complete my degree. I have differed my education to serve a full time mission for the next 2 years in Birmingham, Alabama where I will speak Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have learned for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church. I was raised in the church, which provided me a strong foundation for developing moral values. However, it was not until I knelt down and truly prayed that I received a confirmation that this was the true church. This testimony is the driving force behind my serving a mission. I know this church is true without a doubt, and I want to be able to share that truth with God's amazing children in Alabama.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith throughout my life, not just while inside a church building or worshiping on Sunday, but constantly thinking about it and constantly applying its teachings in all aspects of my life. This past year, I was blessed to work alongside my Bishop, organizing his schedule and helping set up meetings. This was a great opportunity for me to learn from such a wonderful person and gain a deeper understanding of what it means to selflessly serve. I am currently serving a two year mission that will allow me to share my faith with those around me and teach them the truths of the gospel Of Jesus Christ.
