Hi I'm Daniel

I'm a scholar. I sing, ballroom dance and act. I'm a Health Sciences major. I love the Constitution, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Denmark, but when I was six, our family moved to the United States looking for new opportunities. We settled in Arizona, the sunniest, hottest and dryest state, the exact opposite of dark, cold, wet Denmark. I've gone to an excellent school where I've had the opportunity to develop my interests in singing, dancing, and acting. In the meantime, I've become an avid American patriot and constitutionalist; I love having diplomatic discussions with people of other views and finding common ground. I'm majoring in Health Sciences and plan to continue on to become a dentist and eventually an oral maxillofacial surgeon. Some of my other interests include: Italian food, archery, collecting books (hope for a personal library someday), anything to do with Lord of the Rings or Star Wars, and going on walks with friends or family.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church all my life, but that does not mean that I have not personally had to experience a conversion. I have a firm testimony of the truthfulness of the Restored Gospel and our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have read the Book of Mormon several times, and I have acted on the promise given by Moroni at the end which states, "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." I have done so, and I bear my witness that I have received this spiritual confirmation; you can as well if you will read and ask in faith, as I did. Because I know the Book of Mormon is true: I know that Jesus is the Christ, no questions asked; I know that the Bible is the word of God; I know that God remembers all his children, in every part of the world and every age of human history; I know that Joseph Smith was an instrument in His hand to bring about the Restoration of the Gospel, after over a thousand years of apostasy; and I know that His Church today is led by a living prophet, similar to those recorded in scripture. This I leave you as my testimony.

How I live my faith

I'm a priesthood holder in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I help pass the sacrament to the members of our ward, help with custodial duties and bear testimony of Jesus Christ. I read and study the scriptures and the words of our modern prophets. I attend the temple regularly to learn more about Jesus Christ and to complete ordinances of salvation for and on behalf of those who did not have the opportunity during their mortal lives.
