Hi I'm Parker Winget

I'm a college student. I love my family, friends, and soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am going to college before I head out on my mission. I attended 4 years of high school and I am very thankful for all of those experiences. There were ups and downs but I came out the person I am today and I am ready to continue working hard and living life to the fullest. I love photography even though I am definitely not experienced. I just love taking pictures. I also love running and soccer. As I leave high school running is becoming a bigger part of my life and I am training for bigger races. I absolutely love my family and friends. I love being outside with them doing activities like hiking and rafting.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but I continue in this church by choice. I love the gospel. It has helped me through my life and has provided true joy. I love it so much that I am about to dedicate two years of life life teaching it to others. I love this church and this gospel because of the Spirit I have felt so strong as I follow its teachings. Because of the blessings and happiness I receive as I follow the commandments and am obedient. I am Mormon because of the love I have for Christ, the people of this church and the scriptures. I have grown so close to Christ as I continue to grow in this gospel. I know that I will continue to grow and I am thankful for this church that helps me grow.

How I live my faith

I was a representative for my ward in my church. I got to teach other youth and loved planning events for them. I got to serve with great adults and others my age. I planned refugee events, service nights, ward conferences, and before school spiritual events. I have served in other places in my church throughout the years but this is the most recent. I have done plenty of hours of service and love reaching out to my community.
