Hi I'm Amy H

I grew up in California. I am attending Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm studying Exercise & Wellness at BYU. I love to hunt, run, and spend time outdoors. I love to read and to learn.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is the true restored Church. I feel the Spirit each time I read the Book of Mormon and whenever I learn more about the Gospel. That spirit and the good feelings that it brings confirms to me that what I am learning is true. I know that God works in every aspect of our lives, and he loves us so much. He is our Father, and Christ is our brother. Without Christ's atoning sacrifice, we would not be able to return to God and live with our families forever. The Gospel and living its standards brings me so much joy and comfort in my life. And although it can be hard at times to live it, it would be even harder to go through life without receiving the blessings I have received as a result of living righteously. I love this Church and my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I am going to serve very soon as a missionary for the Church of Latter-day Saints in Argentina Comodoro Rivadavia for a year and a half. I will leave my family and my responsibilities to go and preach the gospel to those who may never have had a chance to hear it before. I also served at Relief Society Secretary in my BYU ward, and I had such an amazing time serving the women there. I loved getting visit taught each month, and being able to visit teach others as well. I love going to service projects and ward activities with the people in my ward.
