Hi I'm Makenna

I was raised in the United States. I grew up in a mixed family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love everything that has to do with art or being creative! I like skiing, fishing, camping, and long walks. I'm not afraid to get dirty, but I also like to look nice. I enjoy spending time will all different kinds of animals. I've worked as a life guard in the past. I love service and spending quality time with those I love. My parents were divorced when I was two and I still have a hard time with it. I have one full sibling and four half siblings.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because that is what makes me truly happy. I have seen the difference in happiness and misery in the lives of people I love, and that happiness is from being close to God and keeping His commandments. The beautiful thing is that God allows us to choose and based on our choices will come happy or unhappy consequences. It's like when a loving parent tells their child not to touch the hot pan it's not to restrict the child from doing whatever it is that they want it is to protect the child form danger, pain, and heart ache. Gods commandments are the same way. Even if you are young and have to sit in church alone, or if you have family members who don't share the same beliefs, to be truly happy one must follow the commandments of God.

How I live my faith

I attend my Sunday meeting weekly, and try my best to always do things asked of me such as helping clean the church, go to activities when work permits, and visit people I have been asked to visit teach.
