Hi I'm Norka

I grew up in Perú. I'm just starting as a medical doctor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a medical doctor and music lover. I enjoy play anything on violin and the music changed my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I figured out God's love is too big to be unnoticed when 2 LDS missionaries teach me how deep His love could influence in my life, my family and everyone's life.

How I live my faith

I help teaching youth from my neighborhood. I'm counting days to go to a mission on another country.

Why don’t women hold the priesthood in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints? How do Mormon women lead in the Church?

Norka
Women do not hold the priesthood because the Lord has put it that way. It is part of His program. Women have a very prominent place in this Church, they become an active hand of His work. “The men hold the priesthood, yes. But my wife is my companion. In this Church the man neither walks ahead of his wife nor behind his wife but at her side. They are co-equals in this life in a great enterprise.” Show more Show less
