Hi I'm Audra

I'm from southern California. I'm studying to be a doctor. I love avocados, flowers, and dogs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am part of a large, and very close, Filipino family and I love it. We spend a lot of time together, and I am proud of my Filipino heritage and culture. I am also attending college and studying to be a doctor. But in between the time I spend doing that, I love to go to the beach, read, listen to music, and spend time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I have attended thus church since I was born, but every member of the church must still be converted, no matter how long they have been going to meetings. My conversion began when I was a child, and I was taught about my Heavenly Father and my older brother, Jesus Christ. As I grew older, I faced difficulties, like death of loved ones and many other trials, and I had to question what I learned as a child to see if I actually believed it. And I did and still do. Everything I learned about the gospel has not only given me more knowledge and answers questions like, "Where did I come from, and where am I going?" and, "What is my purpose?", but the gospel also brings me immense joy and peace that I am deeply grateful for. When difficulties arise, I know that Jesus and my Father in Heaven love me with a greater love than I can fathom, and I know that they have a plan for me and so long as I do my best to follow them, everything will work out how it is meant to be.

How I live my faith

I've worked with the youth in the church for a about a year, and I love it. I work, mainly, with the young women and I help to plan and put together activities for them, and I teach them during our meetings on Sundays. They are all fantastic people, and teaching them about Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father and forming close bonds with them is incredible.
