Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in Massachusetts, Idaho, and Utah. I am preparing to serve an LDS mission to Wellington, New Zealand. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Since we moved around a lot when I was a kid, I got to meet lots of different people and learned to make lots of friends. I ran Cross Country and track in high school and love the outdoors; hiking, biking, camping, etc. I have been called to serve in the Wellington, New Zealand Mission and will report to the mission field on July 25th.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to know for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true church of our savior Jesus Christ. Throughout my life I have had many experiences that have allowed me to feel the Holy Ghost and to feel God's love for me. After having these experiences, I cannot deny the truthfulness of them. I have a gained a testimony of this gospel and it is simple: I know my Savior lives, he died for all of us, and he performed the atonement for each of us. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon, and that he restored the only true church on this earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it is the most true book in our day. I know we have modern prophets and apostles and that Pres. Thomas S. Monson is our prophet today. I know this church is true and that God loves his children, no matter how far they go astray. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be an example to others. I keep my conduct, appearance, and language as my savior would and am doing my best to follow his example. I look for opportunities to serve in my community and try to uplift others around me. I serve in my ward by hometeaching other members and in different callings that my bishop asks me to serve in. I have served as a family history youth consultant and in many different leadership positions in my youth groups.
