Hi I'm Kirsten

I'm a dance teacher. I'm a student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student and am currently majoring in English. I love to write and hope to become an author one day. I love kids, probably because I grew up as the oldest of 7 children. I've lived in South Carolina my entire life with my family. I love to dance, especially ballet and contemporary, and I started dancing at age 2. I have been teaching ballet and contemporary since I was 14 years old, and I hope I can teach forever. I am currently serving as a full-time missionary in the Utah Orem Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents joined the church after they got married. They were having trouble having children and a missionary told them that if they got baptized, they would be able to have kids. I was born nine months after my parents were baptized, and my siblings and I were raised in the church. I continue to be a Mormon because the church makes me happy. The teachings give me hope and the commandments keep me safe. I love the Lord and my relationship with him and His Son has enriched my life in every way. I am proud to be a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I believe the most important way I live my faith is by trying to be like Jesus. I build my relationship with Christ through loving and serving others the best that I can. Jesus loved and reached out to people of all walks of life, no matter who they were, and I strive to do the same.
