Hi I'm Mark Nelson

I'm a huge geek and fanboy. I've been called to serve as a missionary in the Idaho, Idaho Falls mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to mess around with Photoshop, and I even have an Instagram account where I post all my goofy pictures @moosegalaxy. I love superheroes, but my favorite is Batman. I love Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Disney, and Doctor Who. I'm a student at BYU, but I'll be taking a "break" from college for two years to be a missionary!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon several times, and the Spirit has confirmed to me that it and its teachings are true. I have also gained a testimony of Joseph Smith and I know that the Church of Jesus Christ is once again upon the earth. I love Jesus, and I believe that the best way I can be like him is to abide by the teachings found in the Bible and other scriptures. I am a Mormon because it gives me hope for life after death, and I will get to live with my family for eternity. Surely there is no greater blessing than that.

How I live my faith

I serve others in my community by doing things such as helping them with yard work, or helping them move. I also visit a few members of my church about once a month to talk about life and the Gospel, and also just have fun oftentimes. I come to church and I may help prepare, bless, or pass the Sacrament (or Communion) to the congregation. At times I am called on to give a talk or say a prayer.
