Hi I'm Lois

I have lived in Murray, Utah most of my life and was born into an LDS family. I love coming from pioneer heritage.

About Me

I married my high school sweetheart after waiting for him on a mission. We grew up in the same stake, we had awesome active families and similar goal and ideals. We had the opportunity to raise 7 children and now are enjoying 21 grandchildren. I enjoy gardening, cooking and reading. I am humble to have had the opportunity to travel extensively, to all corners of the earth and view God's handiwork.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into an LDS family where the principals of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and Christ as the center of our home. I made the decision to be baptized at the typical age for LDS youth at 8. I joined because it was what was expected: however, I have known since I was very young the feeling the Holy Ghost can bring into your heart as you ask if the Gospel is true. I have known since I was tiny the amazing principles and ordinances of the Gospel were true, and were the way to live a healthy, moral, happy, clean life. Yes, my parents and Church teachers taught me these things, by example as well as through the spoken word. But I learned for myself from the Spirit as I asked my Heavenly Father if the Gospel was true, if the Book of Mormon was true, if God speaks to amazing living prophets in these days, if I could receive revelation and confirmation of the truthfulness of these things. And I have learned for myself. And because of my love for my Savior, and what would naturally follow, for my fellowmen; I am converted!! I am a humble member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and am proud to share my testimony.

How I live my faith

Serving in the Lord's kingdom in many different way has been very important to me since I was small. Even when I was young I was in a ward choir; and was editor of a ward news letter at about age 12. I have worked with church members from nursery age on up through adults in many capacities; I really enjoyed teaching teens!! I have had many callings in music, particularly as chorister and pianist in many organizations---choirs are a GREAT way for the spirit to touch people's lives. I have served several stake missions, and an inner city mission and am looking forward to a full time mission. I have also served as a PTA president and enjoyed that very much. I love to organize events....being behind the scenes, and paying great attention to details.
