Hi I'm Emily Trent

I come from a BIG family. I am always seeking adventure. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

A little bit about me... I love the mountains and just being outdoors and active in general. After my first year of college I fled to Alaska for the best summer of my life. Surrounded by mountains and moose and wild blueberries, it was the an incredible adventure. Now I spend my time coaching soccer, hiking, and taking my camera on new adventures. And life would not be complete without all my family and friends. I am the second oldest of 14 kids. So home is certainly never boring or quiet, but its where I can find peace in this crazy world.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in a home where the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was always present. I recognized that my parents knew it was true and I recognized the blessings of their obedience to the laws and ordinances of the gospel. Home was a happy place where I felt love and peace. As I got older, life began to present me with more opportunities and possibilities and I found myself overwhelmed and indecisive. As I looked into all the directions I could go, the path of my Savior became clear. As I have followed his teachings I have found that peace and love that was present in my home. Living the gospel standards has made me happier. I am starting to discover who I am and who I want to be.

How I live my faith

I am trying to be the best me I can be. And that can be hard when I don't fully understand who I am and what I want to do with my life. But as I live gospel standards, and try to follow my Savior's example and really just trust in the Lord, I find that it all works out. And its so much easier surrounded by good friends who share my beliefs and build me up. I am so grateful for the community and family I have found in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
