Hi I'm Haylie

Hi, I'm from the United states, I love dancing, music, sushi, art, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a girl who grew up in a small town with a lot of family. I love enjoying the outdoors trying new foods, and meeting new people. I went to community college early and completed a dental assisting course when I was 17. Personally, I enjoy quiet peaceful activities that I am passionate about. My passions include writing my own stories, drawing pictures that inspire me, and I absolutely love dancing. I've country swing danced, west coast swing for over a year, and love learning new dances.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it is the only thing in my life that has always been consistent, comforting, and a strength in times where I couldn't imagine how to move forward. The church raises me to standards that save me from the many things that make life so hard and unpredictable. Without the gospel in times of need I could have turned to places where I could have ruined my life by lying, ruining relationships with grudges and hate, having superficial feelings and outlooks, making drastic mistakes that could harm my body and others. The possibilities are endless, but because of the gospel I know that there's someone much bigger in this world who knows me personally and knows what I can accomplish for myself and others. When I was weak it taught me not to wait to be saved but to go out and save myself. I became confident with knowledge of what happens when loved ones died and how I know that a Heavenly Father lives and breathes. I am a Mormon because without my faith this purpose in life loses meaning without the blessings, opportunities, and life long lessons it teaches me. I love the church and I know that it changes people in ways they could have never imagined.

How I live my faith

I by my live faith everyday by simply choosing small yet defined actions that show who I am and what I know to be true. I wear modest clothes, have a clean language, and I'm willing to see people not by their faults and mistakes but by their potential. In church I have helped share my personal conversion with youth and those much older than me where they have chosen to listen and relate their own experiences. I live by faith by choosing to open my mouth and talk with others about how the gospel has affected everything around me.
