Hi I'm Carson

I was born in California, but lived all over the US. I started my own piano teaching business. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 17 years old, and I am preparing to serve a mission in Fortaleza, Brazil in a few months. I was homeschooled until my senior year of high school. I play the piano and I love to mountain bike. I was recently accepted in BYU Provo, so I am deferring my acceptance until I come back from my mission in Brazil.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that my church is true. When I was younger I had some small doubts that bothered me, and so I searched for a reason to believe. For a long time I studied the scriptures, and prayed to Heavenly Father, always going to church in faith and diligence. One day I got my answer from God, my reason to believe. I was in Carthage Jail on a youth trip, the jail that Joseph Smith was martyred in, and all of a sudden, a powerful, undeniable feeling washed over me like a tidal wave, and I knew that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God.

How I live my faith

I play the piano for some of our church meetings, and I bless the sacrament for the congregation. I visit other members in their homes to talk about the gospel and I often visit people who are unable to come to church and bless the sacrament in their homes so that they can be able to renew the covenants they have made to follow the Savior.
