Hi I'm Jared Lewis

I was born on Oahu Hawaii raised in Auburn Washington, I love soccer, called to serve in the Lyon, France mission and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love anything having to do with being outdoors, hikes, fishing, hammocking, etc. I am a soccer player and i'm a ukulele enthusiast.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that the book of Mormon goes hand in hand with the bible and serves as another testament of Christ. The Book of Mormon just like the Bible is written by prophets, however the setting in the book of Mormon is of ancient prophets who sailed to the America's. The Book of Mormon is the truest book on this Earth and I know that it is because I have read it and felt the spirit testify to me that it is. Also being a part of this church has shown me that we all can have eternal families and that the grave has no victory over us. We all have been saved by the atonement of Jesus Christ and we also all have the opportunity to progress after physical death.

How I live my faith

I help others in my ward by going and checking in on them every month for home teaching.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Jared Lewis
Honestly living a Mormon lifestyle is pretty easy to do...... IF you have the right mindset. We believe in the 10 commandments and we also have something called the Word of Wisdom that we follow which basically is a law of health given to us from God telling us what substances we should not put in our bodies and keeps us healthier in the long run. As an LDS member I know the importance of families in God's plan for us. We strive to have families of our own because as much as a pain they may be sometimes, they are our source of true joy. We try to serve others as well because when we are in the service of our fellow men we are also in the service of god. (Mosiah 2:17). Show more Show less
