Hi I'm Bowen Loveland

I grew up in Utah. I love stories of all kinds, from small experiences to epic tales. I'm a writer. I'm a musician. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love stories. I love sharing my stories, and I love experiencing the stories of others. Movies, shows, video games, comics, novels, short stories, and spoken tales just reel me in. I like some types of stories more than others, but there is no boring story to me. I actually have lots of stories of my own I want to develop and share with the world in time. I also enjoy music, drawing, building with Lego, and playing games of all sorts. I am competitive, and playing with and against others is one of the ways I bond with old and new friends. I am preparing to head out on a mission as I make this, and I'm super excited. I've been away from home for long periods of time before, but two years is a new length for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church, so it would be very easy to say that I just have accepted it as true. I have lived the principles of the Church though, and I have come to know for a surety of it's truth. My experiences have led me to a great hope for the future. I have come to know what lies after this life, which gives me peace in a pretty crazy world. I have felt great love from Heavenly Father in my life, and I've received direction in my decisions as I ask for guidance. His guidance has helped me to serve those around me.

How I live my faith

I have been in the Church all my life. I have led in various roles as a youth leader. I will soon be heading on a mission for two years. I will have opportunities to serve others. Jesus Christ asked us to follow in His footsteps, and His life was full of service. I strive to come closer to my Father in Heaven through the Book of Mormon everyday. I share what I've learned and how I've grown from the words of the prophets in ancient times and in modern times.

What do Mormons believe happens to us after we die? What do Mormons believe about life after death?

Bowen Loveland
Seeds become plants. These changes can only occur by the seed shedding itself to release the plant within. This what happens at death. Our spirits are released from our bodies in order for us to continue to change and grow. After death, you and I will have the chance to meet our loved ones, our friends and family. After death, one day you and I and everyone will be reunited with our bodies in resurrection. Through the resurrection, we become perfect and whole. This resurrection is made possible by Jesus Christ through his own death and resurrection. Show more Show less
