Hi I'm Haylie

I am from Idaho. I was born and raised in the Gospel. I studied Interior Design at the LDS Business College for a year.

About Me

I was born in Boise, Idaho and raised in a small town near by named Middleton. I love to run. I have participated in a couple of half-marathons, and hope to run a full marathon someday. I love the outdoors. My favorite sport to watch is basketball. I lived in Salt Lake City for a year while I studied Interior Design at the LDS Business College. I am now preparing to serve a mission in the North Dakota Bismarck Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

There have been countless times in my life where I have felt the unmistakable feeling of the Holy Ghost confirming to me the truthfulness of the Gospel and the love of my Heavenly Father. Each of these experiences have strengthened my testimony and made my love for the gospel more complete. This gospel has provided me with the knowledge that whenever I feel lost, scared, confused, hurt, forgotten, or betrayed, I can turn to my Father and Heaven through prayer, scripture study, and service and receive the peace and comfort that I need and instead make me feel important, loved, confident, and worthy. This knowledge and the knowledge of my eternal family has been a bigger blessing in my life than I can ever express.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by consistently striving to be an example of a Christ-like individual in everything that I do and say. I try to be aware of the people around me and think of ways that I can help and serve them. Loving and serving others was one of Christ's most defining characteristics and I want it to be one of mine, as well. One way that I serve in my community is by attending the temple and performing ordinances for those who can't do them for themselves. I am also preparing for my full-time mission in Bismarck, North Dakota and by doing so, I am learning how to better serve and teach the people in my family, ward, and community.
