Hi I'm Madisen

I grew up in Utah. I enjoy spending time with loved ones and serving others. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing sports like basketball, softball, and tennis. I really like playing the piano and listening to music. I also enjoy the outdoors, camping, hiking, and anything new and exciting. I love spending time with my family and friends. They are a super important part of my life and have really influenced me. I just finished my first year at college and it was so much fun. College is a great time to get involved try new things and meet tons of people. Now I am preparing to serve a mission for the church in the Philippines. I am so excited to share what I belief in and show others how the church can bless their lives.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church by my parents. For a while I relied on their testimony of the church, but as I have grown older I have developed my own testimony and come to know for myself of its truth. Little experiences like reading the Book of Mormon, receiving answers to prayers, and feeling the Saviors love have helped strengthened my testimony of His church. I know the church is true and that it blesses our lives. I believe in it because I have felt its truth and seen how it can bring eternal happiness into my life. I am so grateful for the Savior, His sacrifice, and His love so that we can make it back to our Heavenly Father and live with our families forever.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving others and trying to being an example of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I love serving not only because it blesses others, but it makes me happy and blesses my life as well. I also do little things like pray, read the scriptures, and go to church. They may seem simple, but these acts have a huge impact in my life.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are so important because we can be with them forever. Our family teaches us and strengthens us throughout our lives. It is important for families to be strong so that we can have somewhere to turn to for peace, love, and refuge from the world. We blessed to know that family can be with us forever. It is a comfort to know that even when a family member has passed on to the next life we still have a chance to see them again someday if we stay faithful and worthy to enter God's kingdom.
