Hi I'm Caity

I grew up in Orange County California, I'm an aspiring author, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I moved around a lot when I was younger. I was born in Utah, then moved to Oklahoma, then Texas, Pennsylvania, California, and finally back to Oklahoma. I say I grew up in Southern California because that's where I lived the longest. I love the beach, reading, and Pinterest. Learning new things is a passion of mine, which has driven me to learn new musical instruments like violin, piano, pixie harp, ukulele, and hopefully soon the cello. One day I hope to be a published author, I just have to get myself to finish a manuscript!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and grew up with my parents teaching me all about how God and Jesus Christ love me and how they are always looking out for me. As I got older I decided that I needed to find out for myself if what my parents and the church had taught me was true, so I read the Book of Mormon and prayed about the church. I'll never forget the warm, comforting feeling I received as an answer to my prayer. Many times since then I've turned to prayer when I felt lost, and each time I've been heard and taken care of. Following Christ doesn't mean everything will be easy, but I'm so glad it does provide the greatest source of guidance, comfort, and happiness for me as I work through life's trials.

How I live my faith

I have held leadership positions in church when I was younger, which included organizing youth activities and making sure people felt included and taken care of. I've also been in charge of teaching little children. Some things I do to live my faith are being a faithful member of the church, reading my scriptures daily, and praying often. In just one month I will be serving as a full-time missionary for the church.
