Hi I'm Brenton Heward

I grew up in Arizona. I am the youngest of 3 brothers. I am an Eagle Scout and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an Eagle Scout. I love Mix Martial Arts and parkour. I earned a scholarship to ASU and will attend college when I return from my mission. I love movies and the outdoors. Camping is like Disneyland to me; it's a common form of vacation for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I will not mask the fact that I was raised an active member of this church. My parents taught me the basics of God's plan for his children. Much of my childhood relied on my parents testimonies and their understanding of God. My parents began my interest in the gospel but it was up to me whether or not I pursued its course in my own life. Now I have come to know of myself that God lives and loves all of us, his children. My testimony is founded on Jesus Christ and the knowledge that he is the Savior of the world and of our souls. The Book of Mormon is true and I cannot deny it's truthfulness. The gospel has broadened my perspective on life and allowed me to see past the fleeting trials and mortal deficiencies of this earth life. I love God and Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I've been involved in youth programs since I was young. I lead three youth groups from the age of 12-17 in organizing service, and planning activities. I also, with one other brother, meet with families in the church to teach them more about what they can do to further their love of God and how they can be happy in their family lives. I will also be serving a mission in Charleston, West Virginia.
