Hi I'm Kate

I was born in Wyoming, I was baptized at 20 years old and married in the temple at 23. We have 7 children, and 16 grandchildren.

About Me

I am a grandmother to 16 wonderful children. Mother of 7 brilliant people. I have worked as a secretary, car hop, and cashier. I owned my own business selling cosmetics. I sew by machine and hand, embroidery. crochet and tat. I love to cook and feed my family. My husband says I am co-dependent, my children say I'm a hoarder because I keep some old things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a history buff and knew the stories of the Bible and the events, traditions, and archaeology around them. When I heard the missionaries tell the story of ancient Americans I had to know more. As I attended Church I felt the warmth and love everyone had for each other. Attending was like going to a family reunion, I was HOME. My mother and I were baptized at the same time, and grew in the gospel together. Over the years I have learned more than history. My heart has learned to hear that small voice that tells me this is true and that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ are real and love us all.

How I live my faith

I try very hard to do all the Lord asks me to. Raise and serve my family with love and caring, and show that love to all I meet. I tried to help all I could and befriended many and am still close to some after all these years.
