Hi I'm Kent

I grew up in California. I'm leaving on a mission for Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 5 kids in my family. I love to play sports, especially basketball. My family and I love to go to Disneyland on vacation, but we enjoy spending time together at home by playing basketball, baseball, and all sorts of other sports. With three little brothers and a little sister, things can get pretty restless at home, but we love each other like crazy. I recently graduated from high school in California and I will be going on a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Chile. I can't wait to serve the people of Chile and invite them to learn about the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. After my mission, I will be attending college to study finance.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has blessed my life immensely. I feel so much peace because of the knowledge I have about where I came from, why I am here, and where I am going. Even though some may think that living up to the standards God has given us might be hard, the standards I live by keep me clean and pure from the evils of this world. Most of all, the gospel of Jesus Christ gives me joy.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by praying morning and night. I read the Bible and the Book of Mormon almost every day. I go to church on Sundays and I go to early morning seminary on weekdays at 6 am. On week nights, I attend Missionary Preparation Class, Young Men's, and Family Home Evening. All of these activities help to strengthen my faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
