Hi I'm Kim

Hi I'm a Mormon, I've retired from working and looking forward to serving a full time senior mission with my wife.

About Me

I'm retired firefighter and enjoying a little travel to see our children (5) and grandchildren (12). they live all over the United State. My wife and I are looking forward to serving a full time senior mission starting this summer. I'm a convert to the church. Before joining I had been active in another church but thet started to change what there core beliefs were and they were contraire to what I felt in my heart was true. I start to explore other religions and did not find any that I felt comfortable with. I had the an opportunity to invite some missionary's from the Mormon Church into our home and teach the family about their church. After a lot of lessons, questions, prayer and reading we were baptized into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and have had no regrets. I'm still studying, praying, reading and learning,,

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon after looking at a number of Christian religion and found that they all seemed to be missing something, not the people I talked to or the ministers or classes about what they believed, just a feeling in my heart. When I talk to the missionaries about the Mormon church it just felt right and still does. I'm still learning new things and the Holy Sprite confirms my beliefs in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I try to be friendly to other people as I meet them for the first time or old friends. It may sound like simple but a thank you to people as they help you, a waiter, bank teller, cashier at a store or a stranger that holds a door open for you will brighten thier day. Its treating your follow man as you would like to be treated. At church I'm responsible for finances and membership information, this position is called the Ward Clerk. Its a lot of responsibility but I enjoy the ability to serve the members of or Ward.
