Hi I'm Glen

I'm a convert to the Mormon church since 1971.

About Me

Father of 7, Grandfather of 16. Husband of one sweet wife since 1975. Retired. Starting a Self Reliance Services Mission on April 22, 2017.

Why I am a Mormon

After studying and and applying principles of both the Bible (James Chapter 1)and Book of Mormon (Moroni Chapter 10). I determined for myself that God the Father lives, Jesus is the Christ and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true and holds the keys of salvation for all mankind. I know that these things are true by means greater than my physical senses, my logic, my emotions and beyond my experience.

How I live my faith

I am currently the Ward Clerk for my Ward (congregation), my duties are to assist the Bishopric (ward leaders) in administrative functions concerning membership records and finances. I also attend Bishopric and Ward Council meetings and keep notes. I also serve in the Prison Ministry for our Stake (a gathering of Wards). My wife and I have just been called to a Service Mission. We will be helping leaders in 5 stakes and 1 district to implement a new Self Reliance Initiative. This is centered on four temporal self improvement areas but is based in 12 Spiritual principles. We will serve for at least 18 months, after which we will return to our normal activities.
