Hi I'm Jared Westerman

I grew up in Federal Way, Washington, I love music, and I've been a Mormon since I graduated in 2014.

About Me

I love music! I've been in bands throughout school and I play a handful of instruments, and I love conducting. I've alternated between going to college and working for a while, but my goal is to finish school and get into an astronautical engineering field or astrophysics. I love meeting new people and traveling, and I believe everyone has an interesting story or two worth listening to, so share them and make new friends!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe that there's a plan for each of us, and that Heavenly Father has given us the tools we need to find true happiness. I certainly wasn't unhappy before I joined the church, but I've noticed a clear difference in my outlook on life since I learned about the Gospel and I'm very happy with the direction it's taken my life in!

How I live my faith

In the past I've served as a branch missionary, an activity planner, and (currently) the co-chair of the Family Home Evening Committee. I really enjoy the social side of the church and the opportunities we have to connect and have a good time together as well as the messages and testimonies that people bring to these gatherings. I believe it's very important to share not only your understanding but your joy with others. I'll also be serving as a full time missionary soon, sharing the Gospel in Washington D.C.!
