Hi I'm Naiomy

I grew up in New York. I am the first person in my family to go on a mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of five kids and family is very important to me and is something that is very sacred. I love drawing, painting and anything that is artistic. Me and my immediate family are the only ones in our whole family that are Mormon. We have struggled a lot through challenges and trials but we have always come through. The gospel has been and will always be the reason to why we are still all together and why there is always that light at the end of that dark tunnel.

Why I am a Mormon

There are many reasons to why I'm a Mormon and they all relate back to Jesus Christ and God. I didn't grow up in the church and I am so glad that my mom found this gospel. I have gone through many difficulties while growing up and the only thing that really seemed to calm me were the teachings of the church. When i was younger my father passed away. At the time I was very young so I don't remember much about him, however what comforts me the most is that when I die I will see him once more. When me and my whole family pass away I know that we will all be together for eternity and not just now while we have physical bodies. Being a member of the church has made me a better person and more closer to Heavenly Father. I have experienced the difference between being in church and not. I can testify to you that not going to church was one of the worst feelings in the world, I felt lonely sad and like if a part of me was missing. I know this church is true and I know that if we strive to do what's right we will some day become very righteous people. If we follow in the foot steps of Jesus Christ we will become wonderful disciples. It's not any easy road but its a road that will lead to happiness and eternity.

How I live my faith

I teach the primary children in my ward and I love it so much. I love being surrounded by such beautiful children. Even though they are very young in age they have such a spirit. You can feel how much they love the gospel and most importantly how much the love God and Jesus Christ. We prepare events for all the children from the Christmas party down to our Chocolate n' treat in October.
