Hi I'm Rachel

I love warm and sunny weather. I love being happy. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am from the United States. I am the middle child of three. I just completed my first year at Brigham Young University-Idaho studying Business Management. I am currently preparing to serve a full-time mission for the Church. My favorite activities include spending time with family, traveling, hiking, baking, and learning new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I know it's true! I was raised in the Church by my parents who were taught the gospel in college by missionaries. Years after being converted to the Church my parents met and were sealed in the Washington D.C. Temple. As a result, my sisters and I were raised in the gospel. They taught us the importance of developing faith in Christ and learning to rely on the Lord. I had always believed the gospel was true and never doubted anything I was taught. As I grew older I learned the importance of knowing these things for myself. At the age of 15 I decided to read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover. This experience changed my life. As I spent each day studying the Book of Mormon my testimony of my Savior, Jesus Christ grew. I know that He lives. I know the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet.

How I live my faith

I strive to be faithful in the little things. I have learned that daily scripture study and prayer can change the course of an entire day. It's the little ways we express our faith to the Lord that make a difference. As I study and read my scriptures daily my relationship with the Lord has been strengthened. It is by constantly striving to live a Christ centered life that I have felt the greatest sense of joy and peace.
