Hi I'm Journey

I grew up in Kamas, Utah as the oldest of six kids. I love to learn about computers and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of six kids, so I have to really be an example to my family. Like My father, I plan to go into computers for a living and I absolutely love to learn about them. I am planning on attending college, hopefully in computer engineering. I am also a gamer. I play with my friends and family often, and I love to meet new people online. In High school, I played the saxophone in Concert, Jazz, and Pep Band. I loved to be playing an instrument that was relatively new and one of my most favorite instruments to hear. It was even better to be playing something my dad had played as well!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and love I have felt. All of us makes mistakes, me more so than others. I have felt God's love for me so many times when I have needed it the most, and I can never forget that love. I have been denied many times, but yet I felt peaceful and understood that somehow things will turn out to be ok. Most of all, whenever I thought that I was alone and could not be helped in the darkest of places, Christ was there to bring me back to where I need to be. I am forever thankful for what God and his son Jesus Christ has done for me. I know that they love me beyond measure, and I will be willing to do anything to return to them.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live the faith that I have always known. I try to go out often with the youth to serve the community. Whether it has been by shoveling snow during a storm for the senior citizens, or going out and gathering food for the poor in the community, I try to be like my Savior Jesus Christ. Being Christlike is hard in today's world. There are so many distractions in the world today and they can be hard to ignore, but when you focus on being someone like Christ, the distractions start to disappear and life becomes a whole lot easier.
