Hi I'm Alan Pryor

I am a father of 5 children and 5 grandchildren, all girls! I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and now reside in Atlanta.

About Me

I am a convert to the Church having been raised in the Catholic Church. In 1999 I was Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In 2001 I was sealed to my family for time and all eternity in the Atlanta Temple. If you are seeking a close personal relationship with your Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ......you need look no further. Pick up a copy of the Book of Mormon (we also love and study the Holy Bible) and read from 3 Nephi, Chapter 17. You will know that Jesus the Christ knows your name and loves you deeply.

Why I am a Mormon

In John, Chapter 6, the Savior asks the Apostles, "Will ye also go away ?" For many years I had "gone away." There was no room for Jesus Christ in my life. Crazy how much time I had wasted. Now my life is centered on my Savior and my life has changed for the better and I have no intention of ever "going away." I am grateful for my Eternal companion, my children and grandchildren. My family blesses my life daily and I strive to be with my family now and into Eternity. "Till death do us part," is no longer enough....how about you ?

How I live my faith

I have been taught that we are all "sons and daughters" of of Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. Therefore, I want others to have what I have --- the peace and comfort that the Gospel provides us and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Our Church is not an elitist Church rather a Church that is for everyone. I know He atoned for our sins and overcame death. Because He lives, so it is that we may also live again. I live my faith to share my faith. It is never too late to embrace the truth.....all things are possible if we turn toward our Savior.
