I grew up in the beach communities of Southern California, but I love Jesus Christ even more than the ocean! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three college degrees with three different majors, from three different universities. I feel like God led me into education for my career, and I've been teaching for 34 years. Judy is the love of my life, and we have 6 children and 19 grandchildren (the best part of life!). I play guitar and love to head out on my bike for exercise.

Why I am a Mormon

Mormonism has taught me to give my highest priority to God and family. Forty years of marriage has brought us tremendous opportunities, some of them challenging but most of them rewarding. Our children and grandchildren are a daily motivation for me to do good and be good, and the power to carry on comes from God's holy spirit and influence. I know that the authority and rites in LDS temples provide the promise of eternal family relationships beyond this mortal life. My greatest goal is to live worthy of the fulfillment of these promises, through the teachings, example, and grace of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

My wife and I have been blessed to be able to guide tour groups to special areas of the world. We have especially loved taking people to the Holy Land, where we visit sites significant in the life of Jesus Christ. I have also been fortunate to work with teenagers and young adults for many years in private education and in social, study, and service activities with young people. I have great faith in the upcoming generations and their passion for the gospel of Jesus Christ. Life has given me great satisfaction and peace.
