Hi I'm Allyson

I love to travel and experience other cultures. I love finding Christ in every part of the world. I love Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a lover of science. I currently attend a university where I am able to study Botany because I believe that plants can heal the world. I am a lover of all things outdoors; it's easiest to spot me either by the beach or in the mountains. The world is beautiful and miraculous and I love to travel it. To me, the world is a sign of God's love for His children. He created life and gave it to us. We are God's children. I am currently preparing to devote 18 months of my life to share such goodness to the souls of Hungary. I am a Mormon and I wish for everyone to experience the peace and happiness I have for being so!

Why I am a Mormon

Have you ever stopped to look up at the stars, or down at your chest to see your heart beating? Have you ever paused to notice the people around you--laughing or crying? As much as I love and believe in science, it does not explain enough. Being a Mormon has answered all unanswered questions. Like a puzzle piece, it's teachings truly fit perfectly together. From a young age, I have experienced many hard trials. I have dealt with death of several loved ones, a struggle to love myself and much, much more. Being Mormon has brought me so much comfort and peace through all of my trials. I have been lifted, shaped, reformed, and even healed because of the truth and peace that I have come to know from being a Mormon. To me, there is no doubt that the teachings are true. I have felt of their truth and their goodness. I no longer fear things such as death because being a Mormon has taught me that God knows ME and has a perfect plan for ME. Being a Mormon has opened my eyes to see even just a fraction of God's love for ME, and it is great! My life has been filled with a light, peace and hope that I truly desire every soul to experience and to have. Though there is so much hurt and darkness in the world, being a Mormon allows me to love life as it is and truly see the beauty in everything.

How I live my faith

I live my religion, religiously. I do not attend church once a week and call it good. I try my best to live as Christ would each and every day. When I was baptized at 8 years old, I made a promise to always remember Christ. Christ is my brother and He has set the perfect example for me to live by. Remembering Christ each day is a simple reminder for me to pray often and study out the scriptures. I look for ways to serve others because when you are in the service of others, you are in the service of God. I am able to do this by teaching other women and children truth's of the gospel. Being a Mormon and living my faith does not take a miraculous act. It takes kindness, patience and love. Truly, as I try my best to live as Christ would, His love and example fills my life and lightens every trial or burden. Living my faith is a blessing.
