Hi I'm Kris Redd

I'm the daughter of a military radiologist. I'm and outdoors enthusiast and I love the sun. I want to become an RN. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born into a military family, and that has given me the itch to travel! I've lived everywhere from Fairbanks, Alaska to Oahu, Hawaii. I love to camp and hike where ever I am. I also thoroughly enjoy ceramics, surfing, and playing the piano. Currently, I am serving a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Texas. After that I plan to attend BYU and receive my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Life is good!

Why I am a Mormon

I love my Savior Jesus Christ, and I trust him so much! I know that through him (because of his infinite atonement) I can not only live again after death, but I can overcome my imperfections and become more like him. Knowing this has brought me so much peace and joy It makes sense to me that since God had a prophet in the Bible, and since he is, "the same yesterday, today, and forever," (Hebrews 13:8) there is a living Prophet today. God has not stopped interacting with his children, and that is because he loves all of us so much! l also know that because he loves us so much, Heavenly Father has prepared a way for me (and you) to live with the people we love for eternity. I know that through sacred ordinance in the temple, family bonds are not severed at death!

How I live my faith

My faith motivates what I do every single day. It helps me treat others with kindness and Christlike love (even when someone cuts me off on the way to work). I read my scriptures to become closer to God and pray to him daily. I participate in my congregation's services and activities. I fellowship those around me and try to help those without friends feel loved.
